Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology

COBIT stands for Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology; it was first released in 1996. It is a framework created by the ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association) for IT governance and management. COBIT is adopted by all IT business process managers around the globe to provide them with a model for delivering value to the enterprise and implementing better risk management techniques for IT processes.
