It helps in setting-up a baseline by identifying the gaps in the documents and implementation of ISO 20000-1:2018. This analysis can help in creating an implementation plan with reasonable dates so as to arrive at likely duration of completion of the project. SMS documents Gap Analysis:

As per ISO 20000-1:2018 standard, organizations will have to prepare and maintain the documents.  The implementation team at client organization is responsible for creating these documents. CUNIX consultant will be doing the gap analysis of these documents to ensure that they comply with the requirements of ISO 20000-1:2018 standard. On completing the gap analysis of the documents our consultant prepares and submits a detailed gap report highlighting the gaps as well as how to close the gaps. Implementation Gap Analysis:

  1. Once the documentation is completed, it is time for implementation team to put them to implementation and generate records which will also be checked during the audit. CUNIX consultant will do the gap analysis to check the level of implementation and whether the records are captured and are captures as required. On completing the gap analysis of the documents our consultant prepares and submits a detailed gap report highlighting the gaps as well as how to close the gaps. Our consultant also explains the report to the implementation on the call and clarifies all the queries.

Guidance during documents creation:

As mentioned above that there are documents that need to be created during the implementation process of ISO 20000-1:2018. Many-a-times client implementation team faces challenges in understanding the requirements and creation of these documents. They approach CUNIX consultants for guidance. Our consultants then work deeply with the implementation team of the client. This involves various review and guidance cycles so as to achieved the compliance with respect to ISO 20000-1:2018.
